CANCER (6/22-7/22): The New Moon in Aries starts early on the 1st of April. It’s not a foolish start to the month, but you could easily make a fool of yourself by some uncoordinated goof-up. This Moon represents a time of finishing a cycle related to your work efforts. You are at a good place to “let it ride”. The carnival is over and now it’s time to dismantle everything, pack it up, and get ready to start a new cycle around your birthday, this year, and every year. As of late, you are taking on the robe of a saint. At least your mind is tuned to a higher place, even if some habits are still hard to break. A spiritual gift occurs this month, most likely on the 12th. This can be a very romantic time for the good Crabs…you know who you are! There is an abundance of good energy that encircles all Crabs this month. You find yourself absorbed with an interest in other countries and cultures. Ukraine has become a trending concern and interest for most Americans. Your interest is not just a trend. It touches on the deepest of your thoughts. Your empathy would bring most to tears. It may feel like you need to take some action to make things better for the downtrodden and you probably could find a good place to put your efforts. This is a very strong force on the 14th. That urge will continue for 6 weeks after the 14th. The Full Moon happens on the 16th at 12:55 MDT. Home entertainment could go perfectly for all social events. The home is a point of interest with this full Moon. The month continues to a Solar Eclipse on the 30th. This could be a time of ending long-standing structures and traditions. Cancers may suffer the loss of a friend as differences become all too obvious. Coming out of 2 years of distancing ourselves from others has caused a blip to human interactions. There needs to be a verbal acknowledgement of these times. Just as we say Gesundheit for a sneeze, maybe we could have a word for moments of social discomfort. Maybe like, “Frump!” or “Bad dog” or whatever could be standardized. Anyway, this will be a very great month of empathy and love. Our emotions will dominate our decisions, and love will steer the stars (The 5th Dimensions). There is likely to be a great downpour of rain where droughts have ruled. That goes throughout the month with the peak coming on the 12th. The 12th could be a time to honor all life. The month ends with an eclipse, which affects very little in the northern hemisphere, but it still has a message about our need to uproot what destroys our ideals.

CANCER (6/22-7/22): The Moon Children are mostly affected by the Moon phases. There can even be days of weight gain on the full Moon. We are all made up of mostly water, so just as the Moon affects the tides, so too does it affect our minds and bodies. The Moon is said in the “teachings” to protect our physical and mental well-being by filtering the energies of the planets before delivering them to the Earth in a conducive manner. The new Moon occurs in Pisces on the 2nd. This brings out the higher-minded nature of the Cancerians. Philosophy and higher studies are the best areas to be involved with for the next 30 days. Your attention gets drawn toward your partner or a new partner near the 18th as the full Moon raises your emotional state and physical desires. It’s almost too easy to know what’s on the mind of the Crab people. It all depends where the Moon is. Every 2 ½ days the Moon changes into another Sign. You can’t help but take on the characteristics of the Sign to some extent. You feel the nature and experience the possibilities of every sign, every month. This helps you to nurture others because you know how they feel. You love the dreamy world of Pisces and that works for you most years as spring draws near. CANCER (6/22-7/22): The Lunar New Year starts before midnight to start the 1st for us in the high desert area. To be exact, that would be at 10:46 pm mst on 1/31. February is the only month that can never have a “blue Moon”. The Moon’s synodic orbit is 29.53 days, so even Leap Year could not have a blue Moon in February. The Year of the Tiger should be good to sink your claws into the things you need for your life. The Lunar New Year always lands in your Solar House of friends, dreams and goals, and gaining knowledge. These subjects can fill your mind and the world around you. Your mood shifts to a more idealistic frame of mind. The idealism mixes in with your emotional nature to make quite a stew. As the days go by, you become less influenced by this cosmic combination. Just pure emotion, please. This is a very active month in the World and for our country. You are affected by conditions of the USA because you are the same Sign. There is strength to be found in your personal chart which gets you through the worst of conditions. You are able to flow around obstacles and wash away others. The Moon Children seem to be affected by all the changes from the Universe as the planets align in ways that activate certain energies at various times. This month has a new Moon on the 2nd that tends to bring a focus on a partner or certain social activities. Some Crabs will have a positive outcome to any legal matters you may be dealing with. Every month there is a new Moon and Cancerians are aligned with a new course of events to deal with for 30 days at a time. It would be nice to just go through the 30 day cycles unimpeded, but there always seems to be these distractions from your nurturing attempts. Your intentions are usually honorable, but the challenges always pop up. This month is especially important to put on your best show because you will be standing in a spotlight around the 17th. You are tied to the condition of our country, which is also a Cancer. By being a good citizen, you help to improve the conditions around you. You care about the needs of the less fortunate, but it’s a struggle to fight against those who could care less about the needy. There is hope for many disturbing issues as April draws near. There will be an amazing conjunction on the 12th of that month, which will open hearts to those suffering. It will also bring relief to our current drought as the sky brings life-giving moisture to our parched land. Science will find ways to stock up on our water needs to guarantee adequate supplies for agriculture and swimming pools. We all need to be more conservative with our water. At least try to save and use water as consciously as we can. Nature provides, and we must treat water like a welcome guest to our arid land. It even comes with a rainbow wrapping.  Be careful as you tread the dark waters of this Scorpio season. Love and other pleasures can be as beautiful as a rose, but just as thorny. Don’t take chances as Mars adds a high sense of bravado to our leisure activities during the whole month and part of next month. It does work as a stimulus to the urge to merge with another, but it can be impulsive and short-lived, leaving the Cancerians wondering, “what was that”? The old question: Is it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all? TBD it appears. November is usually a fun and high energy month for the Crabs. It’s just that looming Lunar eclipse that gradually builds up to a loss of some kind. This is not to be dreaded. It could be the loss of a bad habit. The only problem here is the fact that we can get sucked into a Scorpionic fantasy to start the month, and it extends claws into our very soul on the 4th. Not all romantic moments are meant to become hot and sweaty, but there is such an intense desire energy in the air that things can happen spontaneously. Be cautious. As Sagittarius begins on the 21st there is a lifting of heaviness and there seems to be no further reason for secrecy. Justice is on the menu for the next 30 days. Isn’t our democracy the most valuable thing we possess? No attack on that should be ignored because it’s very fragile. A few democracies around the World have been taken over by right wing authoritarianism. We are in the same part of a Uranian cycle that brought Hitler to power. Isn’t power the most coveted prize for a politician. It’s like gold fever. They forget that with power and/or riches there is a spiritual obligation toward others. It seems that the more someone has, the more they can do for others. Giving should mean more than just a tax break. Thanksgiving is such a meaningful event, that it occurs during the most spiritual and highest minded of the Signs, Sagittarius. Once we get past the Lunar Eclipse on the 19th, the final 10 days build to a thrilling climax for the final 2 days of November.

There is a New Moon on Oct. 6th. This shows a new quadrant of activity or energy focus for the next 3 months. This quadrant takes you into personal matters related to the home, romance, and that four letter word, work. A month on each of these brings you to a point of personal development, which prepares you for a social life near the start of winter. Generally, the Crabs are affected by the good and bad events in the lives of those they are closest to. Their feelings extend to the well-being of our country. That’s because our country is a Cancer Sign. The USA is taking a battering as we approach the campaign season. Those who form a loyalty to a party that works to make things look bad at this time, are in the same category as Benedict Arnold. Political terrorists with the freedom of speech can do great damage to the economy just like Bin Laden was trying to do. There is a war machine that takes our tax money and blows it up as a bomb, leaving nothing but destruction around the World. How about investing in something that pays dividends and makes our lives better. That’s what our government is supposed to do if we follow the design of our Constitution. Where’s the profit from the money spent? Our enemies know how to cost us money, but we have institutions that have been doing that for decades. So, is that just the American way? How did we get that way? Would we still be well defended if the military budget were cut in half? Probably. Will it happen? Probably not. No wonder the Cancerians are moody. Your moods are a barometer to the state of the union. And the state of the Union depends on politics and propaganda. Power seeking has very little to do with the well-being of the American people. So, meanwhile a message continues to be written in the skies above. The Universe speaks to us, but do we listen? I’ll write louder. The Full Moon in Libra on the 20th is an attempt to restore balance to the World. Something is building to this day. A decision looms. Libra says to choose peace and whatever brings people together in harmony. Jupiter and Saturn end their months of retrograde and this will help us find a balance to our lives. Truth and happiness fill one side of the Scales while serious progress from hard work fills the other side. This represents a balance between the material world and the spiritual necessities.
