Virgo (8/23-9/22):

Hopefully, you are dealing effectively with the retrograde Mercury until the 22nd when it will turn forward in apparent motion. The focus for the working Virgins is on the career, along with your good reputation through meritorious good deeds. It is a perfect time to make repairs or correct any problems with your life-work, or ambitions. The 5th is not the most ideal day as Mercury brings up a sad situation from the past. Your mood can suddenly be brightened by a positive personality on the 10th. Mercury is closely connected to the New Moon Eclipse energy of the 10th. You may find your mind becoming overloaded with responsibility for some time to come. It will be hard to maintain a positive attitude, but that is the best way to survive with your sanity during this long-term influence. Outside of the aggravation from this lingering cosmic event, you will, at least, feel some relief when Mercury turns direct on the 22nd. Progress returns and you are able to express yourself clearly, again. You are better able to defend any character assassination attempts. Things go better at work, and that is critical to your nature. Your focused efforts to correct problems has paid off. You are also able to discredit any slander being flung at your reputation. Now, you are free to find joy in the work you do, once again. That is a very joyful place for the Worker Sign of Virgo. You may receive an honor this month because of your concern for others. The Universe has a few challenges for you as you close in on a new yearly cycle. The Summer Solstice begins at night, on the 20th. Though in the Sign of Cancer, the summer is strongly represented by the Lion. Things get better around that time, but these first 3 weeks are not your style. Still, the Leonians have a way of making banana bread when life hands them soft bananas. Even though others might find the 3rd to be depressing, you tend to see the benefit of the lesson involved. It is a good time to find meaning from ancient teachings that come to light. You seem to be in a deeply reflective state of mind as the Solar Eclipse gets closer. Finally, on the 10th, an amazing thing happens to your subconscious mind. Like a solar flare your brain opens to a deep truth that you hadn’t considered before. It could be an ugly event that you have covered completely with a mound of denial. Because this begins to burst forth during the Solar Eclipse, it can become something to work through for a few months. The 13th could bring an answer that explains why your hopes and dreams are not materializing as they normally do for you. The 16th/17th advises you to make some changes to your diet in order to restore your good health. Any minor ailment will clear away by the Full Moon of the 24th. Meanwhile, your low energy is a good time to continue your curiosity about ancient cultures and their teachings. The Moon Children may seem withdrawn or deep in thought this month. There is a need to burn off some energy while Mars is passing through your Sign. That was true for the entire past month, but this month brings a chance to apply that nervous energy to your earning ability. This sector of your life begins on the 11th when Mars enters Leo. There may be an immediate benefit that follows the Solar Eclipse on the 10th. It can be an eye-opening event that leaves you with a chance to grab some gold. There can be other types of valuable discoveries that appear along your path. Even a revelation, like an epiphany, can turn your world around. This Eclipse won’t be visible in our Mountain Time Zone, but it can have a lasting effect for months afterwards in your personal life. To prevent this energy from creating problems, you could use some of your vitality to lift others from a bad situation. The 14th, can be startling to the World as long-standing traditions may crumble in the light of Truth on a matter. Ordinary bridges could collapse, or more ransomware could create another hardship. Venus has brought some monetary gains while it was passing through Gemini for the past month. Now, it slides quietly into the emotional world of Cancer. Your thoughts turn to family, especially siblings, as you take day trips to see them. Venus says to do the family thing. Afterall, they are the foundation of your life. Taureans need that kind of permanence to operate from. Orphan Bovines adapt to wherever they may graze. All those born under your Sign have had too much nervous energy, in and around them, since early May. That never-ending battle for security, never seems to end. (redundant on purpose). You seem intrigued by the Cancer world as Venus enters there on the 2nd. The 3rd is abundant. You start to feel lucky for the joy you have found. Slow down just a little while passing through paradise. That includes the “paradise” in your mind as life seems to smooth your travels. You will want to be with the crowd on the weekend of the 12th/13th. Friends can lift you from your current frenzy,  into a better frenzy. There could be a sudden realization regarding responsibility, which this weekend of frivolity reminds you of. That can be looked at in a more mature light, now.
