SCORPIO (10/23-11/21): Pluto is retrograde all month, and into October, but Mars as your co-ruler keeps things exciting as you run on impulse power all month. The excitement starts early on the 1st of August with your partner acting out in a fit of nervous exuberation. Your best philosophy would be to let them express what they know, and just agree. That will make the next day a day of love and peace like the calm after the storm. Everyone has a need to express their personal feelings about this crazy World we live in. Just be sure to acknowledge their legitamacy with their emotional state. The World is a different place now than it used to be, so it’s better to adapt. Lamenting on how things used to be done won’t help. The 5th brings an example of this. Use your energies to tackle problems in a new and more evolved manner. The means to achieve your goals are no longer applicable to present day procedures. It can be interesting to imagine how things could be if we had chosen to take the other fork in the road, years ago. All we can do is work with where we are and what we have. Even your sex life has been super-charged by Mars, but alas, it will move into your Solar House of the higher minded involvements. It’s good that astrology can bring an exciting spell of passion to our lives, but then it is followed by a higher way of thinking as factors move from our 8th house, into our 9th house. If not for that little feature of our astrological existence, we would just wallow around in our sexual desires like pigs in the mud. Sure the mud feels great to a hog, but humans need more and that’s where our divine nature comes into play. You might feel just fine as you speed along like Mercury is doing, but like a meteor it’s easy to crash or burn. Old dreams and thoughts of love gone-by may haunt you as the 1st day of August unfolds. Don’t be deluded by remembering only the sweetness and forgetting the bitterness. We humans tend to do that. When Mercury enters your Sign on the 4th, you will be too busy to dwell on the corpses of those affairs which died years ago. CANCER (6/22-7/22): Summer is definitely here with high temperatures in the daytime and passion for the nighttime. The Leo month is about optimism, romance, and the creative spirit. I think it’s very interesting and significant that the Constellation of Scorpio is the most prominent Sign to shine in the night sky during the summer. It tells us to have passion and romance as part of the expression of the Leo energy. A summer romance is likely under these influences. Because Leo is a Sign of a “fixed nature, we look for permanence to come from our summer flings. That becomes a choice played out in the personal birth charts of two lovers. Mostly, the ancient message is to multiply and populate the Earth. We’ve over succeeded in that department. The new message might be to be happy and creative.
