With Mercury causing glitches, your thoughts may not be free of electrical lapses. The best activity during a monetary slow down is to do repairs and deal with unfinished business from the past. The earnings will pick up again during the final 2 weeks of October. The 1st is not the best with your paramour. Words are better not spoken that day. The 3rd is a better day to talk. Old memories can bring laughter. The 5th is a day of compromise with a partner, but it can lead to a place you have only imagined. If this be the case, it means there can be a month on a higher level of love. The 9th is a supercharger for the passions. This can be a nice pursuit while other matters are on hold. The Sun turns down the heat after a summer of baking the Earth. It’s a time of ending the growing season and allowing nature to encapsulate it’s life force in a seed form. For the Leos in October, there is a New Moon on the 6th that brings life to your ideas. You begin to feel more talkative and communicative as a chill fills the nighttime. It seems only appropriate that as the Sun grows weaker, you would want to speak about the things you’ve learned this year. It’s ok to put on a show of pride. You always do it with great optimism and a touch of humor, so no one minds hearing you talk. The 6th adds a touch of nostalgia to the New Moon as a retrograde Uranus gets added to the blend. This could be perfect to have a 90’s party, or earlier. Written words are of interest this month as a long-sought Truth is brought to light. A myth is shattered, but none of this has to deter the Lions from their happy trails. The 8th is active and fun. Athletic events are likely to be an amazing sight and adventure fills your mind. Impulsiveness rules the day. The 9th has you thinking back as you plan for the future. The 13th is not so pretty unless you make it that way. There is a New Moon on Oct. 6th. This shows a new quadrant of activity or energy focus for the next 3 months. This quadrant takes you into personal matters related to the home, romance, and that four letter word, work. A month on each of these brings you to a point of personal development, which prepares you for a social life near the start of winter. Generally, the Crabs are affected by the good and bad events in the lives of those they are closest to. Their feelings extend to the well-being of our country. That’s because our country is a Cancer Sign. The USA is taking a battering as we approach the campaign season. Those who form a loyalty to a party that works to make things look bad at this time, are in the same category as Benedict Arnold. Political terrorists with the freedom of speech can do great damage to the economy just like Bin Laden was trying to do. There is a war machine that takes our tax money and blows it up as a bomb, leaving nothing but destruction around the World. How about investing in something that pays dividends and makes our lives better. That’s what our government is supposed to do if we follow the design of our Constitution. Where’s the profit from the money spent? Our enemies know how to cost us money, but we have institutions that have been doing that for decades. So, is that just the American way? How did we get that way? Would we still be well defended if the military budget were cut in half? Probably. Will it happen? Probably not. No wonder the Cancerians are moody. Your moods are a barometer to the state of the union. And the state of the Union depends on politics and propaganda. Power seeking has very little to do with the well-being of the American people. So, meanwhile a message continues to be written in the skies above. The Universe speaks to us, but do we listen? I’ll write louder. The Full Moon in Libra on the 20th is an attempt to restore balance to the World. Something is building to this day. A decision looms. Libra says to choose peace and whatever brings people together in harmony. Jupiter and Saturn end their months of retrograde and this will help us find a balance to our lives. Truth and happiness fill one side of the Scales while serious progress from hard work fills the other side. This represents a balance between the material world and the spiritual necessities.

GEMINI (5/21-6/21):

Mercury remains retrograde until the 18th. It gives you a chance to gather your thoughts and stop bouncing off the walls. If not for Mercury being retrograde 3 times every year for 3 weeks each time, I think the Twins would vibrate right off the planet. So, use this non productive time to go within and make any necessary brain repairs. Your friends can point out areas that seem to need improvement. Until the 18th, you may also find yourself reflecting deeply on memories and thoughts of what could have been. It’s good that you can give thought to your thoughts. Usually, you find yourself ever looking ahead at new data to feed into your brain. You can be like a human version of Pac Man in a sense. Traumatic thoughts can drag you into a fearful place as the month begins. It’s better to look for better memories and not dwell on the stupid stuff. Maybe the 3rd can steer you toward happier memories of days gone by. We seem to devalue the beautiful times we had with someone by holding on to the bad ending. It can do great healing things to feel the good memories. Bitterness only shuts off the optimum functioning of our body’s magical ability to heal itself. Robots will soon be able to repair themselves without any outside assistance. That is simply a reflection of our natural ability to transform our physical problems into a healthy repair. Who would think that God in all his wisdom would design humans without a self-healing feature?
