SCORPIO (10/23-11/21): Your tendency could be to hide out the first 3 weeks of August. Things can be hard to make work smoothly for your life pursuits. The 23rd brings a change for the better in this regard. Still, an absorption with the career aims can keep you in a reclusive state. At least you know there are opportunities to share your passion with others. It just seems to be a struggle for the first half of the month until the Full Moon (7/15) steps in to put an end to the nonsense. Keep a low profile after the Full Moon light for the following week. Then you will have more back-up for your ambitions to conquer the “dark forces” in your life. Some dark forces are just an inkspot…not much to worry about. Others may intensify matters, to work up the rage to wage war. It’s like flying a drone into a country’s territory to pick a fight. Sometimes, that can be like punching a beehive in your swimsuit. If you just relax, this month can pass on by with hardly a ripple on your seething sea.  Perhaps, a male friend will show up after the 17th, and stick by your side for a couple of months. It’s always good to have a different viewpoint on matters from a friend. Something you haven’t tried could be provided as a tool of practicality. Anyway, the mood changes on the 24th as you stumble into romance, or at least a happy social connection. This can be an alluring contact, but in a few days, you may want to melt this down into a friendship.The 28th puts you in touch with another old friend. Don’t avoid them. LIBRA (9/23-10/22): A great month lies before you after you get past the rubble of the 2nd. Rumors are likely, but don’t let it throw you off balance. You might question the sainthood of your accusers that day. Then you can put on your happy shoes and dance off into the month with friends and fun to fill your days and nights. An irresistible urge to party comes on the 8th. Your social, people skills will be called for on the 10th and 11th as there is cause to celebrate. This can be the manifestation of your urge to merge from the 8th. And, you are buoyed be a wave of happiness and optimism as your goals are realized in some way. The significance of the 11th will make it worthwhile to celebrate, even if it complicates your personal belief system, slightly. If it bothers you too much, there will be positive guidance available on the 13th. You still can be a shining example of truth, beauty, and balance, that day. Your personal values are supported by their obvious validity. After the fun and the struggle for validation, you may need time alone to gather yourself by deep thoughts or meditation. This need to reflect, starts on the 23rd, as the Sun enters your Solar 12th house. This is a great way to uncover the secrets that have been hidden from you during the past year. Virgo (8/23-9/22): If you had a Virgo mother, named Mary, you would be the child of the Virgin Mary. (a little religious humor, there. I know, very little). Anyway, it’s good to keep God laughing. By the 11th, you may be reflecting on deep matters, so laugh while you can. Seriousness will strike while all about you are laughing and dancing in their foolishness. The first 10 days of August are for friends and aspirations. Some of them will have their problems as they come to you like a wet blanket to your fun. Maybe, you could reschedule their misery until after the 10th. The 16th takes a serious turn, again, as an old friend has some more sad news. This time you are in a more spiritual place to help them. There can be a medical visit, or two, this month. The 21st does offer up some R&R from any heaviness. A long journey is a good idea if it helps you to explore your subconscious, though it doesn’t need a purpose, other than a good escape.  Strangely enough, there may need to be some adjustments made to please a partner during this escape. The best news is that any reclusive time will end on the 29th when Mercury moves into your Sign. Even before that, you are shown a well lit path of opportunity on the 23rd. Now, the 29th is the time of decision. A decision is always like a fork in the road. To move forward, we have to choose one fork over the other and make the best of that choice. Sometimes, either fork is the wrong way to go. Just flip a coin and prepare for a battle. You will have “smarts” on your side as Mercury fires up those neurons. Leo Astrological Forecast for August 2019

LEO (7/23-8/22): The Lions will be roaring this month, but mostly they will be roaring with laughter. It’s nice to have your birthday month free of any major obstacles. Happy birthday to the Cats born this month. Cats are great. Not all human Cats are as graceful as animal cats, but they are graceful in appearance and fashion. The 7th is a fortunate day in some way. That way, could be in romance or gambling. Not all Leonians will be lucky in gambling. It depends on your personal birth planets. Of course, I would say to check with your astrologer before betting your paycheck. The luckiest of the lucky will be those Cats born on the 5th, 6th, or 7th of August. For the non-gamblers, there will be a winning of some kind near the 7th. Some say there is no such thing as “luck”, but check the night sky. There’s Jupiter. He’s the planet of luck and blessings. He earned that reputation by sucking up big objects before they strike the Earth…luckily for us. As the Sun passes through your Sign, it makes this nice aspect (angle) to Jupiter as Jupiter stands still in the sky, from our point of view. It’s not until the 11th that it finally begins to move forward again. Strangely, there is something grand happening as early as the 8th. It’s like the opening act for Jupiter’s return to the stage. A sense of humor has been missing from our divided country over the past 4 months, but now it’s back.. Truth regains power in our politics.  For the individual Lion, there is almost too much humor and fun as the Full Moon draws closer on the 15th. Starting on the 7th and up until the Full Moon, you will find love in the hot summer Sun and the night time moonlight. “In love” is the best place to be for the Lions. It always creates a vortex to attract money. That is especially true this month, when the Sun moves into your house of finances on the 23rd. Cancer Astrological Forecast for August 2019

CANCER (6/22-7/22): The Moon is a very nurturing and protective element as it watches over the people of Earth. It influences all living things. We are definitely connected to the Moon. The Moon appears to be like a metallic shell. This comes from an impact test which recorded a continuous ringing echo after part of an Apollo ship was fired into the Lunar surface. Sounds hollow to me. The Moon keeps the earth from wobbling out of control, and is said to refer to the Mother Principle from ancient traditions. Could the Moon actually be our mother-ship? Could the first “Ark” have been a gigantic shuttle from the Moon? Wouldn’t it leave a giant impression on the Earth’s surface, like the San Joaquin Valley of Central California? There’s more to my theory, but we should look at your month of August. The month begins with a new financial focus. For some, no special effort will be required, but due to starting the month with a new Leo Moon, there may be action required. It will take more than sitting by a pool collecting a dividend check. Yet, there is a blessing implied by the Moon passing through your money house. As it grows to a full Moon on the 15th, you have a great opportunity to rake in a few bucks. The full Moon does imply a type of ending this month. A friend could disappear, but hopefully they are only distracted by a shiny object, and will return soon. Starting on the 17th, you feel a need to get out to see people. Still, it will be hard to break away from your pet cash cow.
