SCORPIO (10/23-11/21):  The Scorpions like to lay low during the Libra month. They are not devoid of that scurrying around kind of energy. It’s a molting season for the Stingers. They are preparing to emerge as the fall and winter power forces of the seasons they love. Where do scorpions go for the winter? I think they go into the woods. As for you, an actual highly aware human, there can be great joy found in times of your mini-hybernations. As a practical Sign, you know the value to your well-being to snuggle warmly through the cold seasons. Such a quandary during the first 3 weeks of October. The need to find time to be alone is conflicted by a need to have love. Finally, you realize the love is all around you. Then your Sign begins its time on the stage of life, as we all turn to the intensity of  your Sign. Endings stir deep emotions during this final 9 days of October. Even the Earth could show the intensity of this time of year. The cycle of life is ending as leaves fall from the trees and seeds lie in suspended animation until Aries arrives as spring. Fortunately, you are not a seed. You are the spirit of fall and the conqueror of winter. Kinda like a seed, but human. Anyway, the full Moon of the 23rd/24th tends to shine a flashlight on your House of Partners. New ones, or new and improved ones, seems to be the theme for the week. The 27th can be a productive day. LIBRA (9/23-10/22): Birthday wishes to the Librans. Your Sign represents the stage in human evolution where we become a civilized species. Libra brings laws to replace weapons as a means to settle disputes. Not everyone has evolved to that point. It distresses you to see people who cannot balance their behavior. Most Librans strive to create a place of harmony where they can regain their balance. The home, or a room of the home, is usually their refuge. Soft music and a good book are enough to help you escape a harsh world. This month Venus goes retrograde for 40 days and 40 nights. There can be disasters during this time, but not too serious if you keep your cool. The 10th can add drama to a current relationship. Do not take risks with your money that day. Children can become a contentious matter, too. There seems to be an ugly cloud over you, a few days. The 15th is better as you are bolstered by kind words of praise from another. By the 19th, you may really need “happy hour”. Then the quiet nights are replaced with a deep, rumbling of intensity. The Scorpio month has begun as of the 23rd. The Scales notice a need to gather resources. A focus on “acquiring” serves as a replacement for love gone missing. That would be the appropriate focus, anyway. The full Moon on the 24th could bring a new spirit to your relationship (ambiguous, no?). There is a chance to regain any lost love by the 26th. VIRGO (8/23-9/22): The industrious Virgins are applying their energy to earning as they gather what will be needed for the coming winter. So practical of you. As of the 9th, however, you may feel secure enough to take a few short trips just to be nice to others as well as yourself. If everyone was a Virgo, what a helpful world it would be! The 10th advises caution with your words and in your travels. Soften your criticism. The 11th can present a challenge as you must take a stand against tyranny on any scale. The truth is on your side and your sword of decency is sharp. Your mind can rest well that night. A touch of love can make a nice dessert with lunch on the 15th. On the night of the 18th, place a pen and pad by your bed. You may want to remember your dreams that night. Try not to let someone disrupt your peaceful frame of mind with their aggressive behavior before noon that 19th. The 22nd brings you close to the one who can satisfy your desires in various areas of your life. That early afternoon encounter fits exactly into your need for change. The 23rd is a day of world conflict and/or great intensity. It seems like every time you reach nirvana, the world tries to drag you into its conflict. LEO (7/23-8/22): The Lions are feeling friendly and talkative more than usual as the month begins. You can spend some time counting your earnings as a monthly cycle winds down. On the 8th, you can make plans for the month ahead. Socializing is probably at the top of your list. Visiting friends and talking to others as you travel around. Some of these friends will be coming to visit you before the month is over. The home is also a focus as some things need replacing as the 10th draws near. Discordance is likely that evening, so best to be alone. The 11th isn’t much better as you may have to go up against the powers that be. Be cautious that evening. Any needed home servicing is best done on the 15th. The 19th can bring beautiful messages in your dreams before sunrise, but the waking hours of morning can bring discourse, or even an angry misunderstanding. The 23rd can be another evening to stay home alone, as friends and partners tend to be opposed to you in some way. The full Moon will, hopefully, bring all this aggravation to a head. CANCER (6/22-7/22): The Libra season can be a little off-balance every year until Scorpio comes along on the 23rd. Cancers can feel out of place at most social gatherings where some elitist conversations can make you want to go gag yourself. Yet, there is still a place to be during the Libra part of October, and that is right at home. This could be your last chance to fluff-up things at home as you prepare for the intensity of romance and passion which usually comes  along sweetly during the Scorpio month. See how it works? Prepare the home first, then love fills it. Esoterically, the “home” is your body and core self. If you have been lonely, or accused of being insincere, or too sexual, or too controlling, etc., then October can be the time to objectively look at these perceptions others may have of you. The 8th is a good time to consider how to project a better image of who you really are, at heart. How can you show that you actually care for others and their problems? You know that character counts in others, but what type of character do you project? Turn off the T.V. or the video games long enough to form a plan of action to show your true caring nature. As the full Moon approaches on the 24th, you can be generating an energy that brings many friends to the real you. Stay on the light side of romance because a relationship changes at month’s end.
